About us

The origins of Danieli do Brasil date back to 1988, when Danieli entered the market with a local representative, leading to the first installations at the Riograndense and Açonorte plants.
Over time, their presence strengthened, and significant projects were undertaken, including the installation of a meltshop at Usiba, a VOD furnace at Acesita (now Aperam), ladle furnaces at Cosipa (now Usiminas Cubatão), Siderúrgica Pains (Gerdau Divinópolis), and Açominas. Additionally, continuous casting equipment and long product rolling mills were installed at Piratini, Recife, Usiba, and other locations.
In 1998, Danieli do Brasil was established, initially in Rio de Janeiro and later in São Paulo. In 2000, an office was opened in Belo Horizonte, primarily focused on managing projects in the Minas Gerais region. Significant plants also emerged, including the long product rolling mills at Cosigua, Belgo Mineira Piracicaba (now AM), and the Gerdau Araçariguama plant, among others.
To enhance service to our customers, a specific division of Danieli Service was created in 2004, initiating the Danieli service center in Brazil, located between São Paulo and Diadema. Currently, this service center is situated in Votorantim, about 100 km from São Paulo, covering an area of approximately 50,000 m². Here, highly specialized professionals provide technical and commercial assistance to our customers, with equipment refurbishment, restoration, and modernization being key services offered. Additionally, substantial investments have made the Votorantim service center a fundamental hub and center of excellence in the manufacturing and installation of rolling guides for the Americas.
